MY SKETCHBOOK

Outside of the automotive world, you'll usually find me with a pencil in hand. Sketching has been a quiet passion of mine since childhood and I never gave it up. Including through the peak of my adult years. Whether I am whiteboarding, sketching ideas, there's something grounding about translating an idea onto paper before it becomes anything more.

Over the years, I've realized it's not just a creative outlet; it's shaped the way I work. Drawing trains your eye to notice things most people scroll right past...the subtle curve of a line, how light falls across a surface, the small proportions that make something feel "right."

That habit of really looking has followed me into engineering, where catching the small details early often makes all the difference. So while my day job is about strategy and systems, my sketchbook keeps me sharp in a different way...and honestly, it's just fun.
